My review on induction cooker

Ni dah lama pakai baru hegeh2 nak review.

Actually ada byk benda nak review but sila ambik no giliran..


As posted here I mentioned that aku pakai induction cooker instead of dapur gas biasa.




If you are wondering why, well here is the reason. When we built the kitchen here in shah alam, the intention was to rent it out. Plus, the space is small so we thought induction cooker ni sangat menjimatkan space. 


Before we moved to shah alam, I have to admit mmg aku sendiri ada doubt. Terfikir.. mcm mana la nak masak ni kan. Mesti leceh. Hangit. Susah nak control. Etc.


Mcm2 alasan. Tambah pulak memula guna, I didn't use the proper kuali (non stick). I just use the periuk that comes free with the purchase. (Mcm mangkuk sup makan kat steamboat tu)


But after I bought all the proper kuali, life became easier. Not only easier.. but better!! Here are the plus points compared to dapur gas.


1. Jimat space. You don't need to have a whole cabinet space just to store tong gas. Plus, sbb permukaan dia rata, I can use it to letak brg2 and tempat utk potong2 sayur (of coz kena la alas).


Kau boleh potong sayur atas dapur gas? *flips apron* 


2. Cepat panas. When I say cepat.. I mean reallllyyy cepat. Like when u boil water, within 10 seconds u can see the bubble oredi. Ok well depends la taruk air byk mana kan.. kalau satu kuali penuh tu agak2 la.. But still, kalau nak masak, mmg minyak cepat panas. X payah tunggu lama.


3. Senang nak kontrol. Mine, is considered cheap. Dlm 200++. Ada yg beribu. But still, I consider aku punya okay. Ada few functions, like kontrol temperature, timer, and kontrol tahap panas. Jarang aku guna yang lain, I just kontrol the heat level.


Paling panas is 1400 and lowest is 500. In betwen ada 1200, 1000 and 800. So senang nak agak2.


4. Senang nak ajar anak masak. Mr p lah ni..overprotective daddy. Mmg tak kasik balqis sentuh dapur dulu. Katanya kalau pakai induction cooker ok.. at least x kena api. Wahhhh..sayang anak iye.. habis tu I dulu x takut ke kena api? Mih mih mih.

But.. satu drawback that is obvious using induction cooker ni... is kau tak boleh guna periuk or kuali biasa.




First, u need to find kuali yg flat (bukan melengkung mcm kuali biasa) Second, the kuali punya flat bottom tu mesti ada metal base. Sebab bila metal, baru works kat induction cooker.


The way it works is..the induction cooker will sense ada metal and baru boleh transfer heat.

Kalau nak beli periuk, check dulu ada label boleh pakai utk induction cooker tak. Kalau tak sure, see if the base boleh lekat magnet. If yes, then ok.


I know tefal punya produk ada yg boleh pakai. Tapi mahal sket la. I use ikea 365+ punya kuali. Slightly cheaper. But so far so good.






Cuma yang aku x jumpa lagi, kuali kecik nak goreng telur.

Kalau jumpa.. bagitau iols ye?

salam...saya kurang faham dengan fungsi temperature...mcm mana nak set dia ye..contoh; goreng telur nk kena set juga ke...? tq

temperature ni mcm nak control api kuat ke tak.. sama je. Nak api kuat, tinggikan temperature :)
