Balqis now is really into speaking english.. yg bestnyer.. i did not teach her, she pick up herself, from Channel 63 - PlayHouse Disney obviously!! Fuh, never thought TV has this much influence on kids.. tapi, out of 100% her english, i think around 60% jer yg i can understand, others are, ermm..... german i suppose...kekeke..
maid also says.." bila mama balik jer... terus tukar cakap english.. kalau dia cakap dgn saya, saya yes yes yes aja.. saya mana faham.."

now at home almost 100% speaking london dgn dia... sampai lidah aku plak terbelit2..:) grammar ke mana..apa ke mana...hantam jer la labu..
My objective is to make her berani.. not like me before. When I was a kid, I am the type yg malu2.. takut2. I dowan her to be like that. I want her to be confident of herself and have a high self esteem. In summary, a total opposite of what the mother use to be when she was a kid.. hehe, can meh? I hope so, Insya Allah.
btw, this morning when I walked to putra, i lalu-ed a nursery. somehow this morning baru 1st time nampak this couple tgh hantar anak diorang. Dari jauh, nampak the kid around 3 y.o, mcm balqis, i saw her tarik2 the mother's hand, mcm nak masuk kereta balik. Makin dekat, I can hear the kid melalak bagai nak rak!! the mother terus dukung her, sambil tu nampak the kid meronta2 nak turun. Adui... kesiannyer.. I dunno how the mother feels, but I feel so sad, and I almost cried. Aku mmg tak leh la tgk budak2 nangis camtuh..
Next year nak hantar balqis pi tadika, mannn.. I hope she wont melalak like that.. I dunno if I can survive that kindda situation. end up aku takut dgn aku sekalik masuk kelas dia..:)

konot, ayesha pun sama. when she was hooked into channel 63, she uses all the cartoons' words that she listened, such as "oh no! not again!" and she even called me "mummy" instead of the usual mama. kids can absorb things so fast, it's nice if she can speak/read arabic like how she catches up on english.
exactly la lia, aku nak cari cd2 ajar arabic letters plak.. coz i see she can cath up very fast for ABC and 123 thru TV. Unfortunately tak byk on alif ba ta.. balik2 cd yg sama.. dia pon boring.
i suggest you try cd kumpulan alif, it's a children nasyid that teaches children on arabic words. ayesha dah hafal alif ba ta sampai ya and can recite some simple du'as also. tapi semuanya in a rythmic melody...ikut rentak lagu la katakan....hehehe
