Concert vs Penang

like others, balqis punya tadika will be having the annual concert. i called the teacher few weeks ago, asking when teh concert will be. shud be on 3rd, or 4th november. okaylah.. so we planned for vacation in penang on 27th and 28th of october. flight ticket and hotel are all booked.. setel!

yesterday the school kasik notice..

CONCERT WILL BE ON 28th OCTOBER.

takkan nak cancel penang kan?

takkan nak skip concert plak?

takkan nak pergi penang tak bawak balqis?

somehow i feel like we have to skip the concert. the thought of it made me so sad. i almost cried. kesiannya balqis.. tiap2 hari balik sekolah, she wud practice dancing for the concert. now she cannot attend the concert.. adusss.. sedihnya aku..

kak ani said..."alaa.. dia tak paham pun..hangpa pi jer la penang.. tahun depan ada lagi concert.. hang toksah dok sedih2.. dia tak tau apa pun"

mr photographer suggested try jer la tanya cikgu dia kot2 ada harapan nak tukar date... or perhaps they could have a rehearsal ke, so balqis dpt la merasa pakai baju cantik2. he even told balqis how much fun we will have in penang..itu ini bla bla bla.. finally asked her.. "balqis nak gi penang ke concert sekolah?"

and luckily she said "adik nak pi penang lah!!! tak mo pi concert sekolah.."

lega sikit dgr... but still..i felt so kesian kat dia lah...

i HOPE... she still doesnt understand what she is missing.. coz if she does, she will be very2 sad, and i will be very extra sad knowing my daughter doesn't get what she wants..

penang here we come.

side story sket...

semlm we all buka puasa in kak ani's house. i wanted to try masak nasi minyak, but dont dare to try alone takut tak jadik, so kena ada chef supervisor kat sebelah.. :) so kak ani volunteered suruh aku masak nasi minyak at her house semlm.

well..kalau dah ada supervisor kat sebelah, sah2 ler jadik kan?

(everyone is sooo enthusiastic to teach me cooking, hmm.... kesian sgt kot kat mr photographer hari2 asyik2 makan nasi goreng nasi goreng hehehe)

mr photographer cakap sedap.. and paling bestnyer si balqis. she was telling abg fadzil how sedap the nasik was, and abg fadzil told her "sedap ek? mama lah yg masak tuh"

and u know what she said?

"BETUL KE?"
