Proses pertukaran sekolah.

Hari ni thought of sharing some info with you guys, on proses nak tukar sekolah. Since we gone thru this process recently, so while the experience is still fresh, why not jot it down here. Mana la tau kot2 lagi few years kitorang pun nak pindah lagi ke kan..

Wah konot... kotak2 dalam bilik pun blom habis kemas.. ada hati nak pindah lagi?

Well anyway..

Prosess tukar sekolah ni is not that easy, but not also that simple. But you need to know, that prosess yg aku went thru ni is within the same state (from Melawati to Shah Alam). Kalau different state, maybe sama, maybe lain.

First thing that you would need to know, find out dulu sekolah mana yg nak masukkan anak in the new area tu. Try to find at least 2 schools, sbb nanti masa fill in appliction dia akan tanya pilihan pertama and kedua. Lets say the first school yang kita nak tu penuh, dia kasik our second choice.

Then, dah tahu sekolah mana yang nak, find out the sekolah tu falls within which PPD (Pejabat Pelajaran Daerah). Tanya je la kat Pejabat sekolah tu, they should know.

Next, go to the pejabat old school, and let them know nak tukar sekolah. They will provide you one application form to fill in, an another checklist of documents that you need to provide.

Fill in the application form (this is where you fill in the first and second choice of new school) and submit to the old school.

Within few days (depending on school) they will return back the application form (complete dgn recommendation from guru besar). They will return 4 copies of the form.

Bring the application form, the documents (refer checklist) to the PPD, submit application.

PPD akan bagi balik satu copy application form, cop dah diterima, dan cop tarikh yang kita kena dtg balik untuk ambik result.  Aku dulu dlm 2-3 weeks.

On the tarikh stated, pegi la balik ke PPD, check you result. Kalau tak approve, pandai2 la korang buat rayuan. Aku dulu first time dah approve, so sori the mori, tak tahu pulak nak citer mcm mana nak buat rayuan.

Once dah approve, bring the form to old school, they will be giving you the student punya personal file.

Bawak the approved form, the student's personal file, go to new school. They will cop tarikh diterima bila, and suruh kau dtg balik masa  first day of school with the personal file.


First day of school, dtg ler sekolah, bawak file. Masa perhimpunan, cikgu akan suruh budak2 baru yg belum ada kelas ni beratur on one side. Dah habis perhimpunan, ada cikgu penyelaras yang akan coordinate all the new students. Citer penuh pasal ni entry lain ye...


Tu la sedikit sebanyak process nyer.


Documents yang perlu (original and copy) :

1. Surat beranak student
2. IC ibu dan bapa
3. Surat nikah / cerai ibu bapa.
4. Bil2 rumah baru (nak tengok alamat)

Kalau bercerai, kena dapatkan surat mahkamah utuk hak penjagaan anak.

Kalau tak de surat mahkamah, mintak your ex-spouse pegi pesuruhjaya sumpah (commissioner of oath) and buat surat akuan yang kita ada hak penjagaan anak.

Kalau tak boleh jugak, katalah kau gaduh sampai tarik2 rambut tak boleh nak tengok muka kan...kau sendiri la yang pegi commissioner of oath buat akuan sumpah sendiri yang kau ada hak penjagaan anak.

Yang third option tu, aku tak tau for sure boleh ke tak, I was told verbally yang cara ni boleh. But kalau tak boleh kang, jgn marah aku. Sila marah pegawai PPD yg bagitau aku ;p



Process nak tukar ni pulak, timing dia agak pelik. Mcm aku, nak tukar effective tahun baru. So even tho aku dah tau nak pindah awal2 (lets say in September aku dah tau nak pindah) but I cannot submit the application. Because it will be effective immediately.

I can only submit during school holidays.
